Art Workshop - Social Forum for the Elderly
On 23/01/2025, I conducted an art workshop on the theme "The Impact of Art on Quality of Life" as part of Social Forum for the Elderly. It was realized at Koralle, the most famous art supply shop in Porto Alegre. The workshop was divided into two parts.
The first part was an introduction and reflection on what art is, its role in the development of an individual, its impact on society, and the importance of its presence in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices.
After the presentation and discussion, the second part began: the application of an art activity in tribute to Redenção Park (a traditional park in Porto Alegre, RS). The activity served as a practical way to demonstrate how art can connect with ESG, as participants individually coloured an illustration of an opossum (black-eared opossum), a symbol of Redenção. This reinforces the park's principles of respecting the wild animals that inhabit it and maintaining harmony between wildlife, flora, and humans.
The coloured artworks were gathered into a single piece and documented alongside Michele, representative of Koralle, and Jakubaszko, president of Redenção Park and a member of Social Forum for the Elderly.
